Dr. Philippe Auroi as been active in the field of food safety and reputational risks related to food supply chain for 30 years. In 1998, Philippe was one of the pioneers in food traceability, designing and deploying the first traceability system for the poultry meat market with Bourgoin group (ex-global leader in refrigerated poultry meat products) where he was Quality director.

He then played an important role in the design and deployment of innovative IT collaborative solutions in the field of PLM for Private Label Products, Traceability, Supply Chain Mapping and Global Data Synchronization. These solutions have been used by thousands of food manufacturers working with 35 global retailers.

This background in both , food inspection French official services, private consultancy, food industry and IT makes Philippe Auroi an expert in the requirements, difficulties and pitfalls involved in setting up a traceability process throughout the food supply chains.

In 2016, Philippe Auroi launched Consomethic and initiative aiming at helping food industry to tackle risks in the food supply chains with a special focus on Human Rights management.
